Mihai Toma Four fighters, each having different social lives and attitudes, aim to enter and win the Beatdown competition, so they turn to a former champion for guidance. A strong bond is created between three of them and the coach but the fourth decides to betray them and use all kinds of dirty tricks in his attempt to eliminate them one by one. In the end, they must face each other on the cage in order to prove who's best, taking vengeance at the same time on their ex-colleague, now turned into a threat for everybody.As in the first movie, backing down is never an option. Working hard, practicing both physically and mentally and controlling your emotions and feelings is the key to victory. An angry mind is a narrow mind as they often say. It's a more original plot, more composed than the one in the first movie, with several intrigues and a lot of action, ideal for keeping you entertained and curious about the fighters' evolution. This time, we're talking about a good movie and a great one for fighting enthusiasts (not that I'm one of them)!

msr31684 Never Back Down 2 is very much identical to the first movie, only with a much smaller budget and this time revolving around 4 main characters training under Case (Jai White). Considering that I'm a huge fan of mma, action-movies and Michael Jai White (as an actor), I hate to say that this movie was predictably annoying. I think casting a couple of Abercrombie models in a movie like this was somewhat cliché and a bit of an insult to the mma scene. The acting was noticeably lacking (with the exception of Jai White) and there were a few scenes including Case's troubles and Justin's troubles that seemed to be poorly executed and lacked realism. There were also a couple soft-core sex scenes that seemed out of place. It was interesting, however, to see Todd Duffee act as well as Lyoto.The only credit I could give this movie was it's extremely low budget ($3 million) and the fact that it was shot in only 4 weeks. Other than that, I guess this is all I can come to expect. I knew I would have to watch this while the lady was away because I knew she wouldn't like it. Boy was I right. I bet she'll like Undisputed-II though.

chris1987 I went in to this film expecting another great movie like the original.Well i was very disappointed.Michael Jai White is a decent actor and i enjoyed watching him in Universal Soldier:The Return.In this film he certainly is no Mr Miyagi.The other characters were not the best of actors to be honest.The fighting was decent enough though and i enjoyed all the M.M.A action.I enjoyed the story bringing in different characters and backgrounds in M.M.A.I would recommend only watching this if you are bored or pick it up in the bargain bin at your local video store.And the scene where they train one fighter by punching a piece of paper has got to be the worse scene in a movie ever.This should have never been made.I guess some things really do look better on paper.

Pagero Marrero I honestly don't know why this movie only got 5.6 out of 10. This is the first movie I ever did a review on so you can believe its good. Michael Jai White does his thing in the movie. My favorite scene is when he fights like 6 cops handcuffed. All the UFC and MMA fighters did good acting wise except for one. I can't his name but he look like a white king-kong. His acting was horrible but everything else in the movie as far as story line, plot and all else was good. if you like this movie, like it at facebook.com/neverbackdown2 ! Michael Jai White always delivers. I am a big fan of his and love all his movies. I really thought this would be a fail looking at the trailer which SUCKED but the movie was awesome!
