fab88 This is my first review. I watched this movie like 6 times and felt like it deserves a review. After all this time I still love every bit of it. The actors are brilliant and I can feel the ion between the two main characters. The ending is perfect and just the way austen movies should be.

estatesalestore The music was too loud, the dialogue was too fast and the entire pace of the movie was too fast. I didn't hear one word uttered over the loud music. Since I know the story well, I was able to follow it but much of the best of the book is left out. The plots and costumes were good that's all I can say good about it.

nabilaharrold Pride and prejudice is the most exquisite romantic film ever made. The soundtracks, scenerie,words, actors .. everything about it comes together in a harmonised sympohonie like the perfect piece of art. It takes you places and triggers deep emotions. I cannot comprehend how the director achieved this masterpiece,it is as if the universe conspired to make it happen. It's an experience,I fully immersed myself in an will always cherish, I simply can't get enough of it. It is beautiful and I am utterly appreciative and thankful for the brilliant minds who birthed it.

Mila_Marie_00 Almost not watchable. I AM a fan of Keira Knightley however, she is a silly and shallow Elizabeth Bennett! I don't know why as I've seen her be quite good in other period roles but she is TERRIBLE as Elizabeth Bennett. Makes her a very UNlikealbe character - you don't even root for her to win at the end. And Mr. Darcy in this...OMG. He literally possesses TWO emotions. Vapid and slightly less Vapid absolutely horrible. Does not inspire thoughts of romance and love! Do yourself a favor and catch the 1995 version with Colin Firth. THAT is the way it should have been done. If you can't find the 1995 version - then catch Becoming Jane - that's very good too. This version of P&P is truly not watchable - both the acting and the interpretation of the story/script are just terrible.
