Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Gordon-11 This film tells the story of a secret agent who is forced to do one last job in exchange for an experimental treatment for an illness.The story sounds like a thriller, but the delivery of the plot is not as thrilling as it could have been. It is punctuated by frequent lighthearted moments, which interrupts the flow of the thrill. Out of all the characters in the film, I like Hailee Steinfeld the best because she seems the most natural.

dayanaortez-28566 3 Days to Kill is a very enjoyable movie. Its is about a man who is a spy and has a sickness that causes him to leave his high risked adventures, and he tries to get a fitter relationship with his wife and his daughter. He pushed them away trying to keep them out of danger. When he gets to where his family is an undercover CIA agent follows him in order to complete her mission, and offers him to do it in exchange to get medicine for his condition that could help him live longer. She meets up with him at a market and while they are having this conversation in the vehicle the camera was up close in their faces to show that there is tension and seriousness of the situation. Once they go to the hotel and he goes to get the ants worker there is a shooting scene and there is music that only us the audience here to further intensify the situation. There was also a scene where the body guard bends over and Ethan comes behind the door, but the camera shows neither ones faces' but shows what is happening which is than pointing a gun at the bodyguard. In the beginning of the movie when the CIA director is talking to Vivian about her mission the camera tilts at each person when they speak. This movie is a great action movie that is fun to watch with family, and even friends. if you're into action,drama, and thrillers then this is the movie i recommend for you.

Wizard-8 Even if I didn't know before sitting down to watch this movie that Luc Besson (who wrote and produced) was involved, I certainly would have guessed that early on. That's because this movie has echoes of other Besson movies, most notably "Taken". However, what this Besson movie has that a number of his other movies doesn't have is a good helping of (light) comic relief. I will it that I did find some of this a little amusing. As for other merit to be found in the movie, I did find the action scenes more coherent than usual for a 21st century action movie, and they did have some excitement. And Kevin Costner does a pretty good acting job, believably showing his character has various weaknesses while at the same time showing his character still has some skills. However, the movie despite all this is sunk by what I stated in the summary line - it tries to do too much. It juggles various plot threads around so much that it doesn't feel that any plot thread gets enough time or gets properly concluded. Maybe if the movie had tried to accomplish a lot less we would have had something here, but as it is, it's somewhat of a mess of a movie.
