ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Hidden Howard Hoodwinked 1 was a pretty interesting film with hilarious twist, acting, solid writing and a great story. Now that I have heard about this sequel,I got a bunch of crap to say about this.First of all: characters Red is the same character Granny is the damsel in distress Wolf has some character development...sort of Twitchy(who was very funny in the 1st movie film),now talks regular Hansen & Gretel Are Terrible Villains Versuka The Witch Is Just that Villain Turned Good Guy And Kirk...WHAT THE HELL Happened TO HIM. HE ACTS LIKE A HOMOSEXUALThe plot feels as if it was a spy adventure comedy, however it,makes,no sense and there is a a few plot holes from then and there. The animation did improve a bit,but there are a few uncanny valley scenes And the lip sinking is terrible at timesThe voices are okay, but without Anne Hathaway &,Jim Belsuhi, its not the same. Hayden Paneteire Makes A Good Red but Martin Short Makes A Gay Impression Of Homosexual Stereotype. (No offense)As much as it wants to offer, "Hoodwinked Too: Hood Vs. Evil" Is one of those sequels that doesn't improve upon the first with a plot that feels tiring, animation that looks okay but doesn't look as good at times, characters trapped in madness and voices that are not the same. After I watched this recently, its not as good as I ed the 1st time.-D.Hidden Howard

khany82 I loved the first, atmospheric, original, creative no cheezy pointless predictable boy meets girl plot lines (like seriously there's far too many, if not at least a sideplot), a Goat that taught me the importance of always being prepared, the animations stylised, and it took u through this unmistakable Rashomonesque adventure, to me the ending fell apart because it abandoned its slow reveal and went into hyperdrive but in the end I;d still give the original 9.5 purely because of its ingenuity. Now this movie, I felt cautious, one the trailer doesn't do it any justice, and 2 there's the Hansel and Gretel plot line making me fear the worst a love plot line with Red and 3 can Haden do a good job as minor spoilerAnne? All these issues are resolved for me, Haden's fine, there's no ridiculous plot line and most importantly the trailer pales in comparison. Now I'll it the film had its problems, the pacing is bordering on ADD, it can't regurgitate Rashomon again, and there's a hell of a lot of ideas packed into this film it barely gives you time to process, but once u do process the writing the ideas the interpretives are all stylised well. The comedy's there, the thought is there, the characterisations there and the film has a far better resolution than the original film.Personally I want to see a third, they always have great villains, ideas, and the pacing needs to return to a slower style, and if the filmmakers are reading this bring back some intrigue, i know u guys are ingenious enough to do it in a different and stylised way, take it out of the third man or something and the Goat is still my hero!
gavin6942 Red Riding Hood is training in the group of Sister Hoods, when she and the Wolf are called to examine the sudden mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel. While the film has a great cast, it is so light on quality, it could have been a television episode -- this is not feature film quality. A few good jokes here or there, but a weak story and just nothing that really grabbed my attention. It seems the game these days is to make terrible sequels. "Shrek 4" was a letdown, "Open Range 3" was just average... this one, though, sets a new low bar in effort. Nobody involved gave a hoot about it (except maybe the voice talent, and they must have been in a very good contract, because I do not know why they would want to be in this after reading the script).
