The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again Audience Reviews 1y4gx

Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
TerribleKatherine So, as a huuuuuge lover of the original RHPS and after seeing a well-made version in a theather that left me happy, comes this.. without any charisma, uniqueness, nerve or talent (sorry I had to copy RuPaul there..). Reeve Carney was the only decent thing about this and that ain't much, trust me. Did they drug poor Tim Curry to make a sad cameo? Ir maybe threaten him in a gunpoint? Anyway, I will rather eat broken glass than watch this ever again.
mikedmcdougal I don't understand the less favorable ratings of this movie. This movie was a great remake. It was thrilling to see a new take on this story. The method of incorporating audience participation on a made-for-TV-movie was genius. Perhaps some people thought it blasphemous to redo this movie? Dunno. But I'd suggest any RHPS fan give this movie a try.
ziekling As someone who was originally a huge nope to a remake of this, but has also seen a lot of good remakes lately, I thought I'd give this a chance to prove me wrong. I really ... really... really... was right, this should've never been remade. This was so bad I just logged into my for the first time in probably a year. I've never done a review of any movie before, but I watched this, and I had to let this one thing at least be known:If you have ONLY seen this version, try to erase the entire thing from your memory and please watch the original. Its a beautiful story and nothing like these emotionless hipster kids playing Halloween dress up. Oh and Jesus Christ is it that hard to find an actual tap dancer?
Msofie In general view, i wasn't very impressed. It was a mix between good and bad parts, more bad than good.the good parts are for example, the beginning of the movie "Science Fiction" and Tim Curry's performance was absolutely amazing. The audience in the movie theater was a great addition. the singing trio, Supreme look-a-like was a great addition as well."Time Warp" "Sweet Transvesti" "Fanfare/Don't dream it, be it" "Wild and untamed thing" and "I'm going home" were good performances, can't match the original, but nevertheless performed beautifully.the bad part of this movie, which unfortunately is the most part, the actors who play Brad, Janet, Colombia, Magenta and Rocky were pretty flat. Laverne Cox performance was mixed, some scenes were really good, others not so good. the same can be said for the actors who played Rif Raf and Dr Scott.Another bad point was the set , the absence of the elevator takes away the surprise factor of Dr Frank n Furter's entrance.the castle room, the laboratory and the stage are all the same set, it's like by this time they had blown all of the budget.Anyway, this stared in a very elaborated way, made me excited for the movie, Ivy Levan did a great job setting the audience up for the story, Tim Curry was still amazing. Still the best was Laverne Cox with a Tina Turner infused performance gave the movie a lot of good moments.
