Diagonaldi Very well executed
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Catherina If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
ninohead this movie is a perfect example for a horrible movie. The characters, locations, and most of the story but none of the depth. All the characters seemed flat and emotionless. There was no character development.Through out the movie you can hear a lunatic screaming thr3e dotty words "puke","liar","confess"..The movie is all about "how Kevin confess for a stupid sin that he committed". If you want your worst enemy to confess their sins, the great deal would be to buy them a DVD copy of this crap movie(its so horrible)I am pretty sure they will confess their sins.and i m still wondering how this movie come under the horror gender. In closing, don't waste your time and money on the movie. Go read the book.
pll-4 The direction is totally sub par , the acting is labored and the plot is as thin as a gossamer , DO NOT waste your time or money on this shallow movie . I shudder to think what prompted the "Actors" to agree to do this movie . I can see some talent , but the script and direction is total crap. The story could have been a winner but the screen play was abysmal , I actually feel sorry for the actors having to act out as directed. I will never again waste my time viewing anything directed by Robby Henson! If he could stoop so low as to make this movie in this form then he is on my black list ! My advice to fellow movie buffs is to stay away from this movie and to be very aware that any future movie directed by Robby Henson should be avoided like the plague
MattchuLB Alright.First reason, this movie is named Thr3e hence, I couldn't give it any lower than that. :| And the quality of the film is no better than a three. :| Two, it's three times worse than most bad movies I have seen.and Three, there's about 3 THOUSAND plot holes in this film...Alright, but onto the main review...Thr3e is a movie that interested me, since it was based on a book by quite a famous Christian author, plus it was horror/thriller. A Horror/Christian film. So being a Christian, and a film buff, that was something I wanted to see.Unfortunately, it was a very badly executed idea. :| First, it seemed, like a good movie. That's when it went downhill... 30 minutes into this film, I was laughing at how bad it was.. :| The acting is Okay at times, and then just really.. BAD.The story started out pretty good, then just got plain stupid, and ridicules. There was so many plot holes in this movie, ESPECIALLY the one near the end, which made me change my mind from giving this movie a 5, to a 3.I really was quite disappointed in Thr3e. It is one of the few Christian Horror/Thrillers out there, and could of been quite a good, enjoyable movie.Oh well. Hopefully Ted Dekker's next book-to-film adaption, "HOUSE" will be better...I hope...Acting:3/10 Direction:2/10 Plot:2/10 Re-watch ability: 1/10 Overall Rating: 3/10 Do I recommend this film?: No. :| Thr3e Rated PG-13 for violence, disturbing images and terror.Very mild PG-13 movie, nothing too rough despite the rating.Thank you for reading. :) P.S. If you watch/have watched this film, I hope you enjoy it more than I did. :|
NatiballaAKADaShotCalla Entertaining and worth watching but...A watered down, less enthusiastic, crappy acted version of roughly ...20 % Fight Club (Ending) , 20% Se7en (Format), 20% Saw (Antagonist), 20% The Ring (Day 1,2,3), and 20% Identity.Well the 1/5 each things are exaggerated but you catch my drift, the book may have been original, but the film utilizes and copies too many styles previously established by much superior films. It is semi-creepy however.Watch it, just to see all the pieces of the other movies come together to create disappointing trash!
