Return to Halloweentown Audience Reviews 4o6n2u

Diagonaldi Very well executed
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
vampirelaws1 OK i hated this movie with a ion, i didn't care for the loss for Kimberly at first, i was thinking maybe it wasn't gonna be bad. but then they added the fact that the grandma was the queen? WTF. this was just a poor way to make money,.. it got 7.3million views. but thank god there making another movie coming this Oct (2011) when kal comes back. this will be the final chapter. although the original Marney wont be in it. they are replacing her with a different actress. NOT SARA PAXTON. and i think there replacing kal. i also heard that Sophie will be playing the new Marney,. well have to see.PS. the love interest with Marney and eian. could of just started. they rushed it.
zactac So far the Halloweentown movies are actually going along very well with me. This was quite a big step from the last Halloweentown movie. Return to Halloweentown opens whole new doors for the franchise. For a fifth movie they could bring back some of the characters from the last few movies. For example they could bring Kale from Halloweentown 2 back to wreak more havoc. They could also bring back the Gift that Marnie gave to Dylan (you know the power of absolute control over all) and see how he's handling this great responsibility. And they could also include the mortal world in some way (espically now that mortals know about Halloweentown). So there are still many concepts that could be used for another Halloweentown movie. Maybe they can find some way to end the franchise with these concepts. Still the plot was nice along with the special effects. So this is a good movie to watch on Halloween when your not quite ready for a scare. Also its a really good movie for kids to watch on Halloween.
breepell This movie was good, but there were some things I didn't like 1. How they changed it to Sarah Paxton instead of Kimberly j.brown because Kimberly has a shape to her but, well Sarah doesn't its just that plain and simple it looked like she lost a TON of weight. Also she looked nothing like Kimberly.2 some of the costumes were a bit cheesy.3. some of the effects were cheesy too, they could've done better. once i found out Kimberly wasn't going too be on Holloweentown i knew right away this was probably going to be very interesting and not in a good way Kimberly just added that spunk to the movie and it was a lost to not have her there.
shannongigi I just saw it, and well while Sara Paxton gave it her best, it just didn't cut it. She didn't have the same 'girl next door' quality or the quirky little mix-ups that Kimberly put into the character. Sara was really quite bland in comparison to Kimberly. Also, there were definite problems with continuity. Where did their younger sister go? There wasn't even a mention of her let alone an appearance. Their mom kept going on and on about having nobody left at home, well where the heck did she vanish to? And her grandmother, well there was only a very brief cameo of her which was also very disappointing. The story line had promise, the costumes needed a bit more, and it would have been fun to see more of the characters developed in III (especially the cute troll with Dylan) although it as nice to see Ethan in this one as well. I really quite liked the other three; they got me in the mood for Halloween, but overall, this one definitely left me wanting more.
