Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
dailydarkness2021 I had expected this documentary would give insight to what was actually going on Robin Williams mind which led to his suicide.but there's no such thing shown. and his movies are also not talked about adequately.
stephencardell A wonderful beautiful biopic of one of life's true comedy legends. The pace of the narrative is perfect, and the choice of film clips, superb.A wonderful film for a wonderful man
Joseph Kearny This shallow look at Robin Williams contains numerous interviews with friends and fellow comedians who seem to be testifying to their own heartbreak over his death rather than illuminating the subject. There is nothing new here that non fans like me don't already know and the talking heads provide comments which are windy and cliched. I actually found Williams comedy too frenzied; exhausting rather than funny. I liked him best under a directors' control in films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society. The film feels incomplete because it actually doesn't explore his long and varied career in depth or in an interesting manner. It's a film with nothing to say. It would have been better to use clips of Williams to do the talking for him. The film is funereal something Williams himself might have loathed!
lisafordeay For those of you who never knew Robin Williams(which I am sure everyone knows),he was considered one of the greatest comedians of all time. He was known for his quick ad-libbed jokes and loved making people laugh. He starred in so many movies ranging from Aladdin to Mrs Doubtfire to the Night At The Museum franchise. I the first film I saw him in was Mrs Doubtfire and from then I was a massive fan of his. Him and Jim Carrey are my favourite comedians of all time.Sadly though Robin ed away at the tender age of 63 from suicide on August 11th 2014. Later it was revealed that he had Lewys Body Dementia,a disorder which affects the brain.Fast forward to 2018 and there was a documentary based on the life of Robin Williams from his upbringing in Chicago to photos of Robin when he was a baby to being an adult as well as interviews with those who ed Robin best, including interviews with his first wife Valerie to his last wife Susan Schneider.I gotta say that it was a very hard documentary to watch because as I was watching it I kept saying to myself I can't believe that this man is no longer with us. Bottom line if you are a huge Robin Williams fan(like me having grown up watching Robin Williams in the early 90s till his ing in 2014)then you will enjoy this documentary. All I gotta say is God Bless you Mr Robin Williams and thank you for being a big part of my childhood. You were a remarkable man and I will forever miss you....as does everyone who was a fan of his.
