Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Jayden-Lee Thomson One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
thankyoudad Growing up as a child of a WW II Army Air Forces B-17 Navigator and Bombardier Veteran, my dad always took us to every air field and military museum that we ed by on vacations. His actions taught his children to respect and appreciate the wonders of flight and the men and women who took great risks for this country. One Six Right is not only a tribute to military pilots, but to all pilots. The cinematography is awe-inspiring, and the brilliant young director, Brian J. Terwilliger and his amazing crew, allow the viewer to escape earth while watching this captivating movie. Reading Brian's of how he brought this movie to fruition is amazing and very creative. Brian did not give up on his goal - to make a movie highlighting the history of the airport where he actually earned his pilot's license. One Six Right brilliantly ties the history of the Van Nuys Airport to aviation history as a whole. Every child should view this just for the wonderful history lessons contained within the movie. The movie brings the viewer to the current time era - what a wonderful trip to take! The music soundtrack is so beautiful, too. Make sure to read the end credits - very interesting. Thank you, Mr. Terwilliger - I only wish I could have shown this movie to my dad....
mferyan1 I just saw this documentary on our local PBS and it was beautifully crafted! Congratulations to all involved in making this moving piece of flying history. I've always wanted to earn my pilot's license but have not had the chance. At least I can dream through this well written and beautifully shot story. I am always interested in our history and especially in the history and struggles of aviation. I was and am especially interested in the reasons behind the "extinction" of our small airports. I had no idea how we lose one a week to development. Too bad this is called "progress". Thank you Terwilliger Productions and everyone involved. I wish all of you the best in future documentary projects and keep up your excellent work.
ken-stevens-1 I viewed on a 1080i Hi-Def channel, and was very impressed with the film. It expressed a very compelling and emotional POV, and this is coming from someone who is not a pilot and never had a desire to be one. The imagery and message was compelling nonetheless and I can understand the ion the filmmaker must have had for this subject. The film told a very unique story, which all messaging should do. But it was accomplished with such great detail and humanity, that it left a great impression with me. If you or anyone you know has an affection for general aviation, please make sure they see this. It not only establishes a history of flying but makes a great case for the value of local airports. I'm so grateful that people with this level of ion and talent get to tell stories like this and that I get to see and hear them.
chip-heads Always makes me tear up when I watch this. Great shots, terrific music and the interviews and history of VNY have such detail. This movie always makes me feel at home. The different mix of aircraft alone makes me want to hop over the border to get look, and it totally explains the ion and drive most of us have to fly, or at least want to fly. I wish someone would tell this to the people around my local airport. THen they would understand why we fly and why some planes are loud. And how much money and jobs it brings to the area. I feel free as a bird when this is on TV.PUT IT ON BLU-RAY!Note: Just heard back from the company, no blu ray but they are developing a new movie www.aviationepic.com
