Killjoy Audience Reviews 2e711u

Izzy Adkins The movie is surprisingly subdued in its pacing, its characterizations, and its go-for-broke sensibilities.
Blake Rivera If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Monique One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
martinwyer Awful awful stuff.Doesn't even fit into the so bad it's good or funny category. Everything is abysmal, story, characters, acting. The movie is actually quite short but succeeds in managing to feel like 3-4 hours.Watch anything else instead!
tiskec This movie was so dumb. The filming was bad, the acting was horrible, and the dialog was just a nightmare. I normally don't mind Full-Moon studios and the studio's cheesy horror movies. This one however, really sucks hairy bean bag. The clown in this movie really got on my nerves. His acting was so bad, it made me think of walking through the television screen and punching him in the face multiple times. This clown is a poor excuse for a summoned demon, that some kid brought from the bowels of hell, because he was getting his ass kicked all the time, and to avenge his lost love from this woman beater. Yes, that shouldn't be happening, it is a terrible thought. However, if you summoned this demon on the people who were bullying you in real life, you'd probably get your ass-kicked even worse, along with the stupid clown. This movie is SOOOO TERRIBLE! I can't even figure out how I actually sat through this whole entire film. It still boggles my mind to this day. I would rather stick salt coated tooth-picks into my eyeballs, than watch this crap ever again. I would never be that disrespectful as to recommend this to anyone and allow them to suffer from watching it.
jlthornb51 Craig Ross imaginatively directed this dark, disturbing film which features a terrific lead performance by Angel Vargas in the title role of Killjoy. Brilliantly penned by screen writer Carl Washington, this is a motion picture that breaks fresh ground in the horror genre. At no time is violence and gore shown gratuitously and when it is portrayed, it's realistic, shocking, and in furtherance of the story. The make-up is especially noteworthy and some of the cinematic imagery is profoundly haunting. Vera Yell and Lee Marks give very strong ing performances, building upon the characters in Washington's script and bringing them vividly to life. Their fear and dread as they face the very landscape of death is powerful and seemingly authentic. The suspense and horrific thrills are unrelenting and director Ross never gives the audience a respite from the ongoing terror. Certainly a stylish and a somewhat seminal work in the Evil Clown genre, this film has influenced many other horror productions with good reason. Once you begin watching and allow yourself to become immersed in the frightening journey, it is nearly impossible to escape the nightmare vision that is Killjoy.
Sorpse one of the worst movies i have ever seen. There are literally no redeeming qualities to these movies. I watched the first and was bored as hell. I understand what full moon pictures is all about and can find something interesting in some of their movies. I thought gingerdead man was hilarious and killjoy follows in the same vein except that it is not funny at all. Terrible production, absolutely brutal acting and the kill scenes arnt even good. I think the first involves a guy turning to ash from ugly cg. I didn't like the first at all and fast forwarded through the second just to see if it was basically the same garbage and it does appear that way. I will be pawning these movies off.
