SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
Kodie Bird True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
MartinHafer This is a very clever short film (probably intended as a long commercial) but in hindsight, it may not have been especially effective. It's an anti-smoking film, though according to an article I just read, smoking rates in Canada (and the US for that matter) didn't appreciatively drop until the mid-1990s. Oh well, at least I had fun watching it.The film begins with a woman in her bedroom, dressed in a gown circa about 1820 (give or take). She then lights up a cigarette. Soon, a vampire comes to her and attacks her--only to succumb to the noxious effects of her smoke. It's very clever and hits home the ills of smoking but does it in a way that is funny, so it doesn't seem to heavy-handed or holier than thou.Because it's so short, it's well worth seeing. Thank you National Film Board of Canada.
