Jesse is charming, romantic, and he knows how to pop the question; he just can't face marriage. So, when he and Hannah split up during the same week that a former fiancée dies, he decides to figure things out. He visits each woman about whom he's been serious to ask what went wrong. His teen flame, an independent woman who sometimes sleeps with him, and a group of lesbians give him advice, as does Anabeth, dead but lively in his dreams. One ex remains furious, but with the help of her inventive colleague, the level-headed insomniac Laura, Jesse even gets to talk to her. It's on to Anabeth's funeral, where he'll see Hannah, and maybe grasp what has been eluding him.

Spidersecu Don't Believe the Hype
Sharkflei Your blood may run cold, but you now find yourself pinioned to the story.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
Maria Trim Loved it, quite funny in places the lesbian party had me in stitches, a bit of romance naughty bits, life lessons, and good acting. Great little movie to chill out and have a duvet day. I can never understand why people hate films so much its better then a lot of films i have seen and paid for. I really like Tim Daly anyway and lots of good ing actors. I felt good after watching it, satisfied and happy loved the ending and the photographs were a hoot. You just never know who you are dating lol. If you come across this watch it, you wont be disappointed.
dst-thomas This is a romantic comedy suitable for viewing by males. That said, you know what you're in for. In that regard, there's a pretty heavy-handed metaphor at the end of the script, and the film contains a pretty, original song. I also enjoyed the gimmick of the hapless psychic, made obvious when Laura finally does spill the coffee on her shoe.I love this film, and I would like to add that the DVD version has some deleted scenes that are well worth watching. I usually find this feature to be a waste of time, but there have been a couple of films ("Josie and the Pussycats" and most notably, "Gladiator" come to mind) where you get to "finish the film" yourself by watching the deleted scenes.
LaurieMann This movie wavers weirdly between comedy, farce and attempts at drama. Part of the problem is with the casting of Tim Daly in the lead(the lead needed to be much quirkier to pull off the premise), but there are much bigger problems with the script and the direction. This movie could have been a great black comedy; the scenes with the ghostly Anabeth, the baby shower, and parts of the ending are lotsof fun. But the movie changes in tone all the time.
omar-23 Okay, maybe the name Tim Daly would scare you off from watching this movie, but trust me. This movie is so much better than all of Jennifer Aniston's and David Schwimmer's movies combined. This movie is cleverly written and full of a series of surprising and comical twists and turns. The cast may not be your typical movie picks. Yet Paul Lazzarus wrote and directed this movie well. Tim Daly was surprisingly good as Jesse, a 32 year old bachelor whose former-fiance dies, and he tracks down his former girlfriends to find out where he went wrong. And believe me, when you see this movie, his girl trouble turns out to be more than just bad luck. Some of the most hilarious scenes come when his answering machine messages get saved by one of his girlfriends, and a certain scene with another one of his former girlfriends' daughter. I can't tell you the specifics of these scenes, but I guarantee you, it will be funny. The acting is done very well, the script is well written, and this is in no way like High Fidelity. It may not have exactly gotten "Titanic" advertising, but it is a must-see. See it when you get the chance.
