Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
rseyoum UTOPIA. Thrilling. Suspenseful. Unsettling. Tense.Probably the best show ever made (and I've watched lots of great tv shows such as Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire etc.) Not only is it stunning visually, but thought provoking too. It's extremely dark, violent, but has some comedic moments as well. The sountrack is so weird yet amazing and fits perfectly with the show. It's been over a year since I've watched Utopia but there's not a day that goes by when I don't think about it. It hurts me knowing that people have not experienced this masterpiece. The show lasted only 2 seasons after being cancelled and although it ended on a cliffhanger, most of the show's story and character arcs were wrapped up which is fine. With only 6 episodes in each season, there's no filler and the plot always keeps moving forward. If I could recommend one show, it would be UTOPIA.
kbohna Utopia.Petopia is probably one of the most realistic and truthful series that we can ever hope to watch I believe in it 100 and 50% it is something that we cannot even fathom 30 years ago there was only 3 billion people on the planet we're at 8 billion now what does that say about the population growth. One thing I know for certain I know this to be a fact that if 3 billion people can turn into 8 billion what can a trillion turn into if 3 billion turned into eight billion in less than 30 years there what is 8 billion now climbing to 9 billion going to turn into in the next 10 years. We have to take everything in this series 2 it is probably the most truthful actual if that's even a word series of our time and that's probably why it was cancel. Think about it everything that they're saying in the show we only got two seasons of it but it was enough to make us all open her eyes and realize what we've done if you want to call this a global Earth that's fine I believed in Globe Earth for my whole life but if you want to believe we live on a plane that's also fine you can look these things up on YouTube and find out exactly what I'm saying the point being is that this plain or ball that we live on cannot sting population growth that we are producing. It is definitely the most detrimental thing we've done in our history in this series you will find out the most incredible things that no one thinks about on day-to-day life. I hope everyone gives this attend and maybe a creator if his life isn't in Jeopardy already will make more episodes to show us what we are actually doing to this planet or plane.
jordan quinn This was the first time i binge watched something and it did not disappoint. This is utopia, a show that ran on channel 4 from 2013 to 2014 for two seasons. It was created and written by Dennis Kelly. It's a about a small group of people who find a manuscript of a sequel to a cult graphic novel called Utopia and now are on the run with everyone trying to get the manuscript back.THE GOOD The cinematography is so amazing and beautiful. It was breath taking. The Music was like a techno track and sometimes chilling but my favourite track was the theme song. Well Done Cristobal Tapia de Veer. Acting was amazing as well from actors like Nathan Stewart- Jarrett(Misfits) to Paul Higgins(The Thick of It) everyone was great. The Story really does fit the show very well and gets very interesting. The visuals are so lovely and so many bright colours. It's hard not to look awayTHE BAD (Spoilers) At the end of series two. it end's on a cliffhanger which really makes me angry but not as angry because all of the good things about the show takes over the bad things (or bad thing)All in all it's a amazing show. go and buy on DVD or watch it on All 4.
vogonify This is an interesting series which has a lot of blood and ludicrous logic. It is gripping, for most of the time. The biggest problem it has it its characters. You don't really care for them or fear them, except one, Arby/Pietre. His is the character that affects and though not the fulcrum of the series, it is amazing how much emotional depth it brings to the plot. Unfortunately, you cannot say the same of the lead character, Jessica. She is quite unbelievable, literally. The difference between hers and Pietre's character is stark even though they are equally larger than life. You don't really feel for Jessica and that sort of winds the impact of the general plot. Another interesting part about this is the cinematography. It is extremely saturated and can catch your eye more than once, drifting you away from the main action. There are other characters too who are prominent in the two seasons. Most of them change traits over the course of the episodes and add to the general inconsistency of the show. It was good to see Paul Higgins get to play a character so opposite to his role in The Thick of It. He is one other you feel sympathetic towards but again, everything around him is a bit outlandish. Why then is this an interesting show? Primarily, the plot is quite attractive. It is mostly characters drive a story, and in such stories, they weave, what they call the McGuffins, in it somewhere and you ignore them for the greater good of the characters. Here, it is the opposite. The characters are the McGuffins.
