Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Walter Sloane Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
arishsankar Sherlock is one of the best British series now, if not the best. The actors are not only great, quite correspond to the characters of the original work, but the episodes are also very well written. The replicas are striking, humor is not bad, the rate remains constant ... Totally different from the recent American version / UK, there are still weakly adventures inspired by the original work (despite the recovery of numerous aftershocks and elements of the books) but who do not need to maximize the stunts and special effects for Do I Market. Putting aside the excellent Doctor Who (also created by Steven Moffat) is a series of very rare quality that deserves an audience just as wide as the great American hits. If you do not already know, it's time to discover this gem
maureenferguson I have recently started watching. I am also hooked. The brilliant acting/chemistry of Cumberbatch and Freeman. I have not read the books. I haven't a clue what is to happen next, but rest assured you don't need to have read these books to enjoy the talent in front of you. Insanely entertaining.
NikkoFranco This series, although concluded already is just too good to miss ( and guiltily repeat watch it again if I come across it on other channels) Benedict Cumberbatch as modern Day Holmes just shines like the diamon prisms under the right light. Martin Freeman also is reliable as Watson. Although there are of course more twists and complications to the millenial version, the core of Arthur Conan Doyle's work is respected and intact. Ably because of the wonderful pacing and cliffhanger in every episode , I convinced a few skeptics to try and watch, and yes, they had been Sherlocked , too. The additional personage e.g. The landlady, Sherlock's high ranking and fallutin' brother, plus someone else unexpected are all icing on the cake. Catch it and enjoy the show.
davet-15275 First series excellent and then just went to pot , the writers are to blame , they made it slow and simple then killed off all common sense and reality
