Pure Genius Audience Reviews g6y4q

Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Allissa .Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
LiquidPoetry1921 Let me first say, I liked the show 'Pure Genius' (originally titled 'Bunker Hill'). It was about Silicon Valley genius James Bell (Augustus Prew) starting a cutting-edge medical facility using his massive tech earnings. His goal ~ to 'cure the incurable'. In order to achieve this goal he hired maverick physician Dr. Walter Wallace (Delmot Mulroney), who was skeptical to take the position at first but was won over by Bell's various successes in returning severely ill people to good health. But, this is where I'll stop (unfortunately) doing a full-scale review of "Pure Genius", as CBS has decided not to order any more episodes of the medical drama. Scoring low in the ratings from its very first episode, it was hoped the show would take off as the public became more familiar with the premise. And obviously, that never happened. So, although I liked "Pure Genius", and wish it'd be around for another season or two, it looks like it has come to an end. But one thing is certain ~ that we'll eventually see Delmot Mulroney in yet another TV show.
zombparadox In this day of doom and gloom, cop shows, court shows, and all kinds of shows with death and the darker side of life, I rejoice in a happy show like this! I miss my Sunday night Disney show with the whole family watching. This show fits that slot. It has positive people, doing the right thing, shares real problems people face, and you can really feel for the characters in the show. This is the kind of show I enjoy most. I would love to see it renewed for many seasons to come.
secolerice I absolutely love this show! The marriage of technology and medicine is amazing. This show looks to the future of possibilities and asks what can we do rather than saying things just aren't possible. It is very inspirational and I finish each episode with a great sense of hope. My niece is just about to graduate med school and I see her in the young, vibrate minds of the young people on this show. I also love the cast and how they have written the teams interactions with each other. I would love to work on a team that collaborates so well! To all those negative people out there that complain that the tech is not real, that Uhura in Star Trek has a Bluetooth type device way before the rest of us did!!! We need more forward thinkers and caring people like the characters on this show in our lives and in our entertainment! Please renew this show!
jen_marien The negative reviews here are a bit over the top....those people are more bragging about their infinite medical knowledge than critiquing a TV SHOW. Everyone knows in CSI and Medical shows, one can't actually expect all details to be 100% accurate or each series would be 1,000 hours long.I like this show! I watch TV for entertainment, to be moved, good writing and characters I can relate to. My sister turned me on to Pure Genius and so far I'm loving it and so bummed it's not being renewed for a 2nd season! The story lines are so touching, the whole staff isn't boinking each other like Grey's Anatomy and the actors seem to really fit well together. It blends new medicine with technology in a simple manner - it's obvious it's purely entertainment but each show leaves you hoping that maaaaaybe these medical miracles could happen? I like shows that make me say "wow" or "god damn it" at the end, this one does it. :)
