Minority Report Audience Reviews b4dn

Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
Mabel Munoz Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Mehdi Hoffman There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Elisha Reilly No it doesn't live up to the movie. So what? It's based 10 years after those events when the minority report has become obsolete. It's going to be different. I think people are being too hard on this programme. It's a good story, with an unusual but interesting partnership. It's not the usual run of the mill cop vs bad guys story, which are still readily available if that's your type of thing. It brings a bit of a twist. Also, it's based in the future, so don't expect things to always make sense. Have you seen what we're all supposed to look like right now based on Back to the Future? Stop comparing it to the original movie and you've a pretty decent, watchable show.
chunter76422 I continued to watch this show throughout the season and I have to it that it grew on me. I thought the special effects where good and the characters had personality. It's really wonderful to see someone like Meagan Good in a role like this especially considering that Tom Cruise was the lead in the movie. I like the direction they went with this story in giving us a window into what happened to the pre-cogs after pre-crime ended. It is also interesting to see the pre-cogs as regular people instead of the drugged-out zombies they were in the movie. I honestly wish viewers would watch few more episodes of this show because I'm sure they would come to actually enjoy it like I did.
terrybest-02670 Minority Report is a TV show not the movie if you want to watch the movie then do so.This is also not a sequel to the movie. So what if its a police procedural,as long as they are police these shows will be made.I liked it, the actors they chose play their parts well and are believable. These are good actors, the characters are solid.I have worked with people in real life who are the complete opposite of me so this does happen. I like this series, whether its renewed or canceled does not take away from being a great show. Not every show has to have deep meaning and I like shows like that but I also enjoy being entertained. A good show with good actors, watch it.
ericrnolan The first episode of television's "Minority Report" (2015) has all the bells and whistles of it 2002 cinematic source material, but little of its skilled storytelling. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10, and that probably reflects my positive bias connected with my love for the classic film. The show looks great — the special effects are well thought out, well rendered, and in abundance. Visually and in of its fictional technology, this is terrific way to revisit the future that was painstakingly envisioned for the fantastic movie. The show is an earnest follow-up, too; you can tell that the writers respect the film and were reaching for its unique vibe and its fast-paced suspense.Regrettably, the pilot here just doesn't suggest that this will be an unusually good show. The writing and directing are average, at best, and some of the acting is downright poor. A hastily conceived plot features one of the movie's plot-driving psychic "precogs" rushing to intervene in future murders, which he can still predict, like some kind of lone, nonviolent, pre-emptive vigilante. A cheesy covert partnership develops between him and a tough-and-sassy-but- sexy, single, female cop. And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Cue the bad dialogue. I honestly think my friends and I could have come up with something better than that.Oh well. It can't all be "A" material. At least, that's what I've been telling people who bitch about my jokes on Facebook. And this was just the pilot — maybe the show will get better.
