Naked and Afraid Audience Reviews 4e53i

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
FrogGlace In other words, this film is a surreal ride.
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Cissy Évelyne It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
MiketheWhistle Watching an ep that's not available to comment on but it has a theme that's throughout. Why do people get mad and criticize the number of partners that agreeably stupidly choose a bow drill, but couldn't they too had brought a fire starter?
matthijsalexander Naked and Afraid is an excellent show that (as I see it) is very natural and subject to very little producing. The couples are sometimes compatible and sometimes collide, which is absolutely normal. When it comes to groups, of course there will be division and clashes, that is only natural. What I love about this show is the 'natural' feel it has. The weaker can become the stronger, and vice versa. The females can far outperform the men, and vise versa. Every time.... there is some sort of surprise. Some episodes the couple seems to simply 'roll' through the experience but I dare you: Spend 2 nights naked in your backyard. See how you feel. I have absolute iration for those able to hunt snakes, know about which flowers to eat or people that take a chance on drinking possibly contaminated water. 101% respect for those mentally able to endure rough cold nights or bug riddled camps..........I have watched season 3,8 and then some and can't stop watching it!
tntfriday13 It's a pretty good show, I suppose. I watch it when it comes on and I find it interesting watching these people attempt to survive 21 days without clothes and only 1 item each. I would have rated it higher if the cameramen/women would get more footage of the actual surviving, and if the editors would edit out the random shots of dangerous animals in the area. It would be nice if they could incorporate some sort-of learning device into the show. I know that the survivalists demonstrate some proper techniques and a few informative messages pop up on the edge of the screen sometimes, but i just never feel like I know what's going on. I don't fully realize the dangerous situation that the survivalists are in (animals, exposure, etc), and how that situation could be handled.
Sandicmxr Episode and DescriptionHIMALAYAN HELL (SUN AUG 17 10/9C)Two survivalists try to survive for 21 days in the high altitude and extreme cold of the Himalayan foothills in northern India. In the face of severe dehydration, one survivalist's debilitating illness threatens to derail both of their chances of success. When this episode started I thought it would be the usual fare but from the start there was something different about this pair. He was very patient with her and when the blow up came (as it always does) I was disappointed in her. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder about the "roles" women and men have whereas he seemed to just want to get the job done. I'm glad the fight was over quickly and they got down to surviving. This was my favorite one yet and was glad they recovered pretty quickly. By the time the horn honked telling them they had made it I was cheering.
