Mulaney Audience Reviews 573n4x

Manthast Absolutely amazing
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Blake Rivera If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Rick Danger (moanb58) Watched the show for the first time tonight. I read the other review prior to writing this and most were not kind. I don't know of John Mulaney's stand up and other projects, but John.....please stop the sitcom project. I, like many, had high hopes due to Short and Gould, but I turned away about 20 minutes in. I just couldn't continue to watch the continuous string of non funny scenes. Please Fox...cancel this show and concentrate on another. Not one laugh in 20 minutes and I'm now wondering about the credibility of Fox and future comedy efforts. I could go on, but think my point is made. Dude...sometimes things just don't work out.
kingbrice So our lead here, Mulaney, is a an award winning writer and comedian, neat. The show has a another strong ing established comedian, Martin Short, sounds even better right? But unfortunately these two pillars are missing the third essential one to hold up the show, and that is any actual qualities of a show. It has virtually no real story, a show about nothing eh? Sound familiar? Not so bad, there are tons of shows about nothing. How about the jokes? We'll on paper I'm sure they're great, out of these folk's mouths, they sound forced and are just horrible. But even that isn't a show killer. Bad jokes and terrible actors are abound on successful TV shows. What puts the death nail into this steaming pile of a show is Mulaney himself. The guy just can't act, not even a little. It's not bad acting, it's non-existent acting, like watching a mannequin who sort of sounds like 'Raymond' awkwardly read lines like a 3rd grader public speaking in front of his class for the first time. It's awkward and painful to watch him speak, worse than a fork on a chalk board painful. He obviously has no idea what he's doing, and whoever green light this, well warm up that resume cause your days are numbered. So go ahead and skip Mulaney, you're not missing anything.
Pierreghali186 first mulaney have 2 roommates which Jerry doesn't and there is no 2 black men in Seinfeld thats a point for mulaney and Jane had a boyfriend at the pilot Elane dated jerry thats another point for mulaney , mulaney has great cast Elliot Gould and martin short are the funniest men ever and mulaney doesn't have a tall idiot YET and no bold man either and there was a tension between the cast of Seinfeld during the first few seasons which didn't get acclaimed at first just like mulaney despite mulaney cast has a chemistry a weird one a funny one and all of the haters you all judged mulaney based on the pilot my suggestion is to wait until the 12th episode the say : GOOD OR BAD NOTHING MORE , mulaney isn't dads the last unlaughable FOX series which actually got 24 episode so please don't judge mulaney on the pilot and other point for mulaney they have a lot of funny comedians so wait and lets see what happened :D
mikecutting Got through about five minutes of the first episode. Cracked a half smile once, worth the 1 star. I've listen to this guys routines on satellite radio and some are really decent, not sure why they used the subway stalker bit. Not his best by any means. Then we start in a doctors office, where there is this forced conversation between a close friend, followed by another friend who just randomly shows up to the doctors office... the extras in the show acknowledge the conversation by looking at main actors, but don't interject when people are randomly yelling in a doctors office. Like the receptionist wouldn't be all "STFU". Last, the jokes weren't even funny and wrapped around a premise that is simply cliché.
