Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
Kodie Bird True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
giacomo-69802 Read the reviews, which mostly say the title should be taken lightly. But this show is too much of a stretch on logic to be enjoyed. For example ***light spoilers*** in the show, some criminals go to the past on a time travel device, with the intention of changing some past event. The "good guys" follow with a second device, in the attempt of stopping the criminals from acting on their plans. The good guys leave the present many hours after the criminals already left for the past. But they are still living in the unchanged present, discussing what the criminals want to change in the date they have chosen for their destination. This is just too stupid. The present would change the instant the criminals jumped to the past. It doesn't matter if the criminals took one hour or one year to implement their actions. Those actions happened in the past and they'd immediately affect the present, from the side of the followers.Anyway, apart from that, the acting is wooden, the characters not interesting, nothing makes any sense (e.g., send only one soldier armed with nothing more than a pistol after a gang of well-armed criminals - just so that there may be enough space in the time capsule for some goofy sidekick and a historian). If you enjoy time travel, watch Travelers. It is also not flawless in of logic, but that is something you can skip over, to enjoy the show (superb acting, deep characters, interesting storyline, good twists...a real gem of a show).
ingridvcosta Loved this series!Story (9/10): Amazing characters. The story has its flaws: it's tricky to tell stories about time travelling, but the characters prevail. An excellent entertainment. Actors (10/10): Good casting. Love Abigail Spencer! Direction (9/10): Very good.
nancyizzo14 This show has it all -it's clever, well written, well acted, and with compelling and interesting characters. I cannot believe NBC did not renew. Hoping some smart studio exec will do the right thing and pick up this show and get making season three!
kitellis-98121 An awful lot of wasted potential here. What could have been an exceptional show was let down in the first 7 episodes by poor writing and an apparent assumption that all the viewers are brainless morons.By episode 8 the series was finally finding its feet, and as a viewer I began to feel that my intelligence was not being quite so badly insulted.Episode 9 was the first that I enjoyed without a constant buzz of irritation in my brain caused by my inability to suspend disbelief, and the semi-conscious re-writing of every scene to improve its science and plausibility. From episode 10 onwards the show really shone with some terrific episodes, and I found myself becoming properly hooked, and actually caring about the outcome. However, I had to consciously choose to ignore a catastrophic plot hole that essentially destroys the entire premise of the series if explored; a way for all problems to be resolved, and all threats averted in one simple stroke, without need for violence or temporal paradoxes. I had to work very hard to ignore my irritation about all that!I also found it impossible to like the character of Wyatt, as he was basically a moron who made nothing but bad decisions based on his own ignorance, selfishness, and narrow vision. He was clearly only there to be eye-candy for the female viewers and a relatable character for the intellectually challenged. His backstory and motivation were a tired old trope that has been way over used.I also predicted the twist at the end of the season 1 finale somewhere around episode 3 or 4. But despite that I was hooked by the end, and looking forward to season 2.If the massive improvement in writing continues on the arc that season 1 established, then season 2 should be a cracker!Lots of complaints in this review, but hopefully balanced and reasonable. There are certainly worse ways to waste some time, and despite its flaws I did binge-watch the whole season!
