A con man on the run from a vicious gangster takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his prison cellmate, Pete, “reuniting” with Pete’s estranged family, a colorful, dysfunctional group that threatens to drag him into a world just as dangerous as the one he’s trying to escape - and, just maybe, give him a taste of the loving family he’s never had.

Sneaky Pete Audience Reviews 5b6o5i

Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Spoonatects Am i the only one who thinks........Average?
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
tsamaniego-11581 One of the best shows I've watched in a long time!! Giovanni Ribisi plays his part so well and the other cast are great!! I hope there's a season 3!!!
calorne This review is based on the pilot episode. Other reviewers have said that this series starts well and then declines and so as the pilot was not up to much I will not be watching any more. The conversations are often rather cliched and dull and there is no real commitment in the acting and so there is no spark.
philjcarter Binge watched both season over a long weekend. This is a slow burner, which you need to watch without any distractions. Otherwise you end up either rewinding to understand how 'Pete' created some of his cons, or how the production team managed to intermingle 4 or 5 story lines into the series. Really hope this series continues as the characters are all believable, and the acting/staging couldn't be better. Giovanni Ribisi plays a very convincing role along with the rest of the actors, to the point that on the last episode of series 2 I had to rewind from the warehouse scene (with the other cons) to realise he was acting panic (as an actor).I advise you to watch other films/series Giovanni has played in, to see how diverse he needs to be for 'Sneaky Pete'.
jonfatcow Both seasons are pretty damn good, really easy to watch, diving in from first minutes. Even this big knot of plot lines in second season in the end surprisingly getting clear:). And the dining table scene in episode 8 of second season (from zooming in dining room to grandpa's "I'll make coffee") - with good intro, rai heat, great culmination and tons of unanswered questions- can be copy/pasted to individual short psychological thriller with elements of comedy - so much tension in there, so much hidden secrets literally between every single person around the table and sometimes it soo funny.About bad guys- Cranston's Vince in my opinion was too bad, like comic-book-bad. Off course he made a good play, I like this actor, but Luka was more realistic and charismatic bad guy, in my opinion:). Actually I even hope, that some day we will see his Journey to USA, in spin-off prequel for example (hey, creators, read this;)), because there is already a strong, solid fundament for that. Anyway, waiting for season 3 now:)
