Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
Organnall Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Lizt Truth is, I find Boomers very funny. Again, it is not supposed to be dramatic or intense, just something that is for the laugh. You can sit back and enjoy it with your family. Most people judges Boomers from the start but I believe that it has quite many potentials. The show does, indeed, get funnier later on in the series. The show is entertaining, wonderful cast ( mostly Philip Jackson, who I can recognize from Poirot) and is very relate-able. I find the characters sharing personality traits that I can see in my older relatives. I believe that the people who were quick to give this show a 1 star were expecting a more dramatic, silly kind of comedy show. Boomers is your old-fashioned sitcom, funny and relate-able.
dioclese Boomers isn't funny? Personally I reckon series two is about the best thing on telly at the moment. Anyone who doesn't appreciate the gentle humour is clearly either too young to understand the absurdities of our generation living in the modern world - or the sort of person that watches X Factor and thinks it's entertaining or that Britain actually has talent...OK series two was a bit slow, but most first series are like that while they iron out the kinks - New Tricks was like that for example and that went on to great things.Boomers is good old fashioned comedy sitcom. It's not deep or intellectual but it's not designed to be. Lay back and enjoy it for what it is. I know loads of people who are just like these characters in real life!
Victoria Thomas I am watching a lot of good actors that seem to be stuck in a farce. It cannot be compared with the excellent Last Tango in Halifax. Crap, utter crap.Apparently I need to have 10 lines in order for me to express my displeasure. Fine. I suppose that I am annoyed because these poor sad buggers are in my age group, and the characters they portray are caricatures of real people. Hoping it will improve, because there are a lot of actors in it that I ire greatly. Stay tuned ..... If you can be bothered! June Whitfield has just said she can't be bothered, and, thinking about it, neither can I.How this got onto the BBC, I will never know.
whitedwarf2013 What a complete waste of time. I did not laugh once, the program is supposed to be a comedy, and believe me I have seen just about every comedy sitcom and movie ever, but this was just ridiculous. I cant even compare it to anything as it's just a bunch of people talking, no jokes, no subtle one liners, nothing exciting happening, no story NOTHING. You could easily put this on to help you sleep... if it wasn't so tedious!O look that silly woman is waving her phone around again trying to get a signal... O was I supposed to laugh at her idiocy there?Do not waste your time on this, you have been warned!
