Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
ne Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
joel-84186 To call Robots a movie is to do it a disservice, as would calling the Bible a book. It is no mere motion picture, it is art, it is wonder, it is grace. One can begin to imagine how many lives have been turned around by the iconic line "see a need, fill a need". To say Robots breaks down all cultural barriers in an aptly cold and mechanical real world is only beginning to potray the full picture. From Ewan McGregor's best performance to the deep insights of humanity and corporate cynicism; Robots is truly something that changes a person. The only criticism I have is that it makes your own life feel insignificant and meaningless, especially since nothing better is likely to ever happen again... ... Until Robots 2.
mitsubishizero Personally, I thought this was a great movie! The characters are well developed, there's no shortage of creativity and while some of the jokes are miss, others definitely hit. Robin Williams stands out as the breakout character of this movie. Ewan Mcgregor voices Rodney Copperbottom, an aspiring inventor who moves to the big city to make it in his dream job. Along the way he meets a rag tag group of robots. Among them are named Piper (Amanda Bynes) and Fender (Robin Williams). With the help of his new friends Rodney discovers the dark truth about the lack of spare parts. But enough said as it's better if you watch it yourself and i'd recommend it.
invisibleunicornninja This show is really dull. The animation is boring, few jokes are funny or even make sense. The voice acting isn't that good. I got this movie as a birthday present when I was like 7. I've tried watching it several times since then but its just so boring. The story is unimaginative. The characters are all really dumb. There are plot holes. ITS BORING. I would not recommend watching this movie.
SnoopyStyle Rodney Copperbottom (Ewan McGregor) is a son of a dish washing robot but he wants to be a big inventor for his hero Bigweld (Mel Brooks). Only BigWeld industries is taken over by the evil Ratchet (Greg Kinnear) who wants to phase out the older models and concentrate on selling upgrades. Rodney befriends Fender (Robin Williams), Piper (Amanda Bynes), and a gang of outmoded robots. It's a visually exuberant movie, but it's not that funny. As hard as Robin Williams tries, his manic voice work doesn't add any humor. That's the biggest issue with this movie. The shinny robots, the kinetic style, and the manic mannerisms make a potentially wacky movie, but none of it makes it funny. They should have asked Mel Brooks to help write some jokes for this movie rather than make him do voice work. It definitely needed some.
