Valiant Audience Reviews 5g1w2i

Bardlerx Strictly average movie
PlatinumRead Just so...so bad
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Catherina If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Neil Welch Valiant is a small pigeon with big ambitions to prove himself as a carrier pigeon in World War II.This British CGI feature tells a simple but worthwhile story, and it tells it reasonably well. The character design and animation are unexceptional - you are likely to have seen much better - but they will be perfectly satisfactory for the target audience, which is fairly young. To be frank, there isn't that much in this film for an older audience except for a very good voice cast. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's definitely a kids' film rather than an all ages film.
FairlyAnonymous When I first saw trailers for this movie I thought it may be mildly interesting. The animation was sub-par with companies like Pixar, but this movie was d by Disney so I was interested. The biggest problem with this movie is that the overall concept is kind of stupid. I do not messenger pigeons ever being used in WWII (or to great extent). None of the jokes in this movie were really funny. The characters weren't too likable, and the movie seemed very short. I guess not much happens in the movie. The climax doesn't seem more climatic than the rest of the movie, which was pretty boring.Overall a pretty dull movie with almost no character development, and just an overall bad plot. Not to mention the animation is pretty awful.
wildpeace10 No,this is not a review for a gross new American PIE movie! The title of my review lists just a few of the things that are wrong with this animated film distributed by Walt Disney productions!!!In fact, there is so many productions involved that you're wondering how much Walt Disney productions really had a hand in the final product. The film wasn't a big hit and the distribution wasn't as wide as other Disney films which seems to indicate that Disney knew that they had a turkey on their hands. But this turkey isn't all that bad. It has some great animation,a few good character voices & a few good jokes but just not enough to make it the other Disney classics. The DVD extras are pretty lame. Not even a documentary on the making of the film and the bloopers are short and lame also.
Gordon-11 This film is about a pigeon called Valiant, whom no one thinks he could do anything big. It turns out that he does Britain a great service in World War II as a messenger pigeon. The animation is excellent. The movements are smooth, and the birds are portrayed in great detail. However, the plot is very thin and totally predictable. The humour is not funny because it repeats itself every 30 seconds. There must have been 30 scenes where birds have mid air collisions and 30 scenes where birds hit a post and falls down. That does not even count the 30 farts and belches. And have I forgotten to mention smelly armpits? Can the filmmakers be more inspired and make less crude humour? I am not sure if kids will enjoy this. The characters are not even likable or cute. It is not entertaining enough.
