American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile Audience Reviews 2z4d5l

Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
pointyfilippa The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.
Patience Watson One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
Barrrrrrt This is for everyone who loves all out crazy sexy comedy. In it's genre it definitely lives up to it's American Pie name. With my low expectations, that is :-)It has some small but surprising continuation of the first movies. It has lot's of boobs and alcohol.. And it has a story focusing on the bromance of exploring the new world of college parties, beer competitions and.. The Naked Mile!Don't watch if you're expecting Shakespeare dialog, an original storyline or a morally correct movie. Also don't watch if you take offense in the objectification or sexualisation of women.DO watch if you're with a group of bros looking for a good pre-party movie, and do not take offense in full frontal nudity. Lots of it.
tedg Gosh, I was surprised at finding something clever. Yes, most of this is a stroll through a museum of obsolete 7th grade humor. This is so tame and lame that it blends into the background like so much graffiti. The "nudity" is goofy. But there is a secondary spine in this that is really quite clever. You will surmise that the fiction here is that there is a world where sex is easy and gangs form based on vaginal territory. That notion, normally based on jocks versus nerds, is here contrasting imaginary sex and drinking boys with -- get this -- "little people." Its done as seriously as usual in these sorts of things: a sort of testosterone sibling rivalry. Its darn effective. There is a whole fraternity, a gang, of little men, complete with little women. They strut and pose just like the "regular" people. The effect is staggeringly funny, centering on a football game.I am not sure whether the other I saw was the first or second. This is superior in having something with soul in addition to the formulaic love story.Ted's Evaluation -- 2 of 3: Has some interesting elements.
siderite The title says it all. I need to really screw my brain to fill the required 10 lines. The actors are completely unknown, the script is not that complex and it's rather bad. The mandatory opposition to the "team cool" is a bunch of evil midgets that somehow are better at American football and getting girls.Storyline: virgin couple in high school are forced by peer pressure to go have sex with other people. It doesn't work and they get finally reunited. In the meantime a lot of teenage party and a bunch of people running naked for a mile.Bottom line: uninteresting, badly played, nice girls.
dfwenigma American Pie Naked Mile lost my vote. I've been in those raunchy frat houses at University of Michigan - and the ones in the movie were too nice. At one point they talk about stealing a monkey from a Zoo - only one problem - Ann Arbor doesn't have a Zoo and it's too damned far to go to Detroit to steal a monkey. The frats and sororities that I saw were all along Washtenaw Avenue several blocks from the U of M campus - so they weren't "on campus". The main campus doesn't have enough dirt to play the kind of football game I saw. The people were entirely too nice in the movie - the frat boys and girls I saw were so blasted off their a**es that there was no way they could begin to have anything approaching intelligent conversation. Also the frats looked way too nice. I went to a nearby university - not U of M - and the frats at my school likewise didn't look that nice and the sets were much bigger than any frats I saw. The reality just wasn't there for me so it wasn't as funny. It was too clean and not raunchy enough. The other American Pies were a bit better. I wish they just wouldn't mention specific schools that way they're not tied to any sense of reality. And if they make anymore maybe they'll make the sets a little smaller, not so nice and a bit more realistic.
