Piglet's Big Movie Audience Reviews 3w3y54

ManiakJiggy This is How Movies Should Be Made
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Matt Greene All the childish humor and genuine kindness at the core of this world has been swallowed up by ingenuous storytelling and sappy sentimentality. And before you say I'm taking it too seriously, you should know that I think the 1970s original is a straight-up masterpiece, and I hold these against that scrutiny. So back off.
Lil_Kim69 Piglets big movie is the best movie I've seen, nd I'm 15! i watch it over and over. the music is great and the story line is gripping!!! i disagree with anyone who says it is rubbish when i don't think it is! at the end i was on the verge of tears! it is an emotional film about friendship, if only we all had friends like them! Piglets big movie shows that no matter how small you are you are big in peoples lives and that meant something to me as I'm short! it made me see that no matter how much you think no one needs you, at least one person needs you and would do anything to make sure you are ok1 i was so thankful for my friends after i saw this film!!
navy-bean I bought this movie on DVD as a present for my 3 year old nephew. What a disappointment it turned out to be. He got up and went to do some painting after about 15 minutes and I can't say I blame him. This movie just regurgitates all the old Pooh stories and is not really about Piglet at all. What a total waste of time and a complete rip off by Disney. If you want to see an animated feature that is entertaining for kids and adults then see Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc or Shrek instead. Avoid this one like the plague!
Brian Let's face it, this is Disney and this is about the most insignificant little guy of the bunch. Any review looking at this movie as anything short of entertainment for kids is missing the point. But I digress...I have taken my kids (3 and 6) to see a few kids movies in the theatre. This is the first time they both sat still and totally silent through the whole movie. For me (and most any other parent) that in and of itself makes this movie fabulous. There were laughs, but mostly this was a very good movie to make people and kids realize value and worth. A nice theme and a great ending. As always Disney manages to end with a great deal of the realization of friends and family being important. I recommend anyone with kids seeing this movie. It isn't the most stimulating of all movies (i.e. Shrek, Monsters, Inc) but it's for the kids, not the adults.
