ifrandes The producers must think that the Russian intelligence services are a bunch of idiots if they're trying to sell us that a Red Sparrow , trained for three months only, will get a top officer killed just by moving some glasses around and by opening a fake bank . The ONLY action scene was the only thing worth watching in this otherwise boring movie.

UK Shaun Red Sparrow is ok. Its more serious than 007, while failing to be as serious as the excellent Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Jennifer Lawrence is good, although I wasn't sure what to make of her Russian accent, which she looses from time to time. Red Sparrow fails to live to the hype. I expected more.

Although on its own merits there is quite a lot to see... unless you prefer to watch yet another JJ Abrams sequel or something.
