sarahpalmer-26759 This is one of the few books that I can from my early childhood, as it is very memorable and very good. Sadly the movie does not live up to the book. Just scene by scene it looks terrible, the cast is terrible, Oprah is a joke. I don't understand that with so many people working on a movie someone can't point out that everything about it is rubbish and change it before it is released. I'm happy they tried to make it, but that's about it.
