Universal Soldiers Audience Reviews 2el4b

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
mathewlisett what in the living hell was the movie company who even thought of producing this utter crap thinking about.hey the other version without the (s) at the end were a mediocre success why not completely mess it up with rap graphics , major part time actors who need to not over react, and yes just because your your 7 year old kid says i can create graphics like the big films....don't have a big heart or even think yeah why not and believe the brat, because it was utterly bad so bad that i can safely say after watching this over or so of wasted life (mind you i was extremely bored and its now 2:30am UK)that even the (lets milk all the money we can franchise) saw films are better than this and i couldn't even stand watching them.Turkey of the year... yeah most likely. Mind you at least we now know that you can kill a indestructible killing machine with a over sized wooden stake to the killer machines body and face ...even though all you can see is blood and bugger all else as in puncher marks or anything resembling wounds.which brings me to the make up section..... bit that made me laugh was the women near the end just before you see the utter worse part of 7 year graphics the killer machine that resembles the machine from the 2nd terminator, the wound on her left shoulder, looked more like she had gone to McDonald's and totally missed her mouth with the overcooked crap and didn't bother to wash it off, at which one of the food mishap she was likely getting told she had a chance in her sad life to act in a film. Did she know that it would be in one of the worlds most expensively done she will ever be a part of yet be the most low budget poorly produced overacted low sense no idea"experience not needed" movie .
the_real_smile This is a very very bad movie, my regret is that I had the movie before the previous comments were posted. The Universal Soldiers have 5 minutes of screen time (but that is more then enough) they look like the borg and have the costumes of villains out of a Blake's-7 episode. 90% of the screen time the marines are yelling to each other, and when a marine dies ... I can't even describe how badly that is worked out.Griff Furst has really destroyed his career with this movie, because the 'original' (well ....) with Jean-Claude van Damme and Dolph Lundgren wasn't the best either, but entertaining, but to do it worse ??? That is almost impossible, and then the nerve to do a "behind the scenes" on the DVD, like after watching this movie that is worth the time to watch aarrgghhhhhh!!!!
kot426 I watched it all the way through just to gaze at two of the main male actors. YUM! Worth the agony :-) Hated the constant whining, horrible, and I do mean horrible acting. Obviously this is the third installment of the Universal Soldier. The first one was the best. In this one the "soldiers" were fleeting and could have been shown a lot more than they were. Strange script. Totally unbelievable ending. These actors should never act again. This director should run for the hills. Several of the actors, male & female, would make a lot of money as strippers or such. I really don't understand why everyone always wants to make these crappy sequels. Totally off the wall.
Andrew Ma Where can I start about how bad this is? Between the bad acting, pathetic special effects, bad sound (was everyone sharing a microphone or maybe the mike was only on the camera?) etc..., it was downright painful to watch this movie. I would watch Elizabeth Berkeley in Showgirl before this turkey. There is one girl in here with ample cleavage that tries to 'sex' up the movie, but too bad her looks are barely average...The actors have never had any experience with firearms and I find that amusing considering it's a "soldier" movie. They wave their firearms around (and at each other) and keep guns pointed up and backwards etc..Hammy acting, and cheesy lines galore. The special effects obviously are hamstrung by a non-existent budget. I echo the review of someone else saying you'd be better off watching grass grow or paint dry. I get to rent movies for pretty much free and I wouldn't finish this one if someone paid me $20...
