Gutsycurene Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
SunSwerver Episode 4 in and ive now deleted the next episodes. It became incredibly dull and lost all momentum after episode 2. Absolutely nothing we haven't seen before and no sense of freshness.O'Dowd cant hold a lead role and comes across as extremely wooden in this, he just doesn't do 'man of violence' in any way, shape or form and as such you cant take him seriously. He clearly didn't know how to handle the role and his acting was muddled. The make up was poor and cosmetics of someone who had been beaten up were amateurish at best.It felt very cliché at times and you could guess where the lines were going.Overall it just felt very cheap and not well produced and the casting was very poor aswell but again the low budget feel is reflected in the choice of cast.
getoffmetwit This show is insanely enjoyable. Watched it in 2 days and can't wait for season 2.
cfourie6 For a lifelong Elmore fan this series has been a massive pleasure for me to watch, almost to the point where I've delayed watching each new episode to savour the moment. The cast is perfect, both individually and as a unit, almost as if they all fully understand (and are fans of) Elmore and his wonderful dialogue and character style. Some of the lines made me laugh out loud which I'm not the type to do....the plot and diverse story lines that take you to places you don't expect to go with some cool moments of casual humour that is so natural it could be from the pen of the great man himself. Wonderful final episode....bring on Series 2 please!
Adevaal Voxx Okay so who isn't an Elmore Leonard fan? And someone who cant find a relate in the baddie trying to get clear story arch is someone who uses entertainment to torture themselves anyway...but adaptations of a movie into an entire season of episodes is a tricky thing to nail... And yet, boldly, almost impudently, it squares off with such vaunted notables as Fargo and doesn't blink. An Amazing cast and screw tightening almost unbearable drama mix and froth together with skill and precision, like watching two armies rush together on the battlefield; They merge then begin to fractal out into swirls and eddies multiplying the interactions exponentially and wielding their predictability to deftly augment expectations so that in the end we find ourselves spinning in the wake, breathless and drained yet slightly giddy at he kernel of thought forming up inside you. That yes, there is a strong chance you've just been ruined for all others by the Titan now sloshing away from you, towards the horizon, as you turn to your loved ones, or whoever else is around and and do nothing to impede the grins rictus-ing your faces.
