GazerRise Fantastic!
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
lenvallairdjr This show, "Kim Possible", don't get me started on this show! This show was Disney Channel at its animated best and it still is today. If the kids watched this show before, they'll understand what I'm saying here. To the people who never heard this show before, here's the main sitch. This show introduced every kid or adult to Kim Possible, a teenager who's highly known for saving the world from evil villains like Drakken and Shego and Senor Senor Senor. Bottom Line; Anything kind of problem you have, big or small, you can just call up Kim Possible and she'll say "No big" or "So not the drama". But, she's not the only character to pay attention to. There's also her best friend, Ron Stoppable and his mole rat, Rufus, who, in this show, are the barrel of laughs in this show mostly. There are some serious things with them as well but they're the "Laugh" button in this show. What makes this show amazing is the script writing which is top-notch on every single episode in so many ways. Reason why the show won 2 Emmy's! Your mission: See the show!
tempest-nirvana The only cartoon that I the entire family watched and enjoyed, and my parents are about as against cartoons as you can get. Kim Possible was the perfect blend of comedy, action, and romance as you will possibly ever find in an animated series anywhere. There are some cartoons mainly just targeting one young gender but this was one that everyone at the time male or female, could relate to. KP had a fairly unique art style most notable seeing the upper lips of the female characters shaded while the bottom was not. The comedic feud between "Team Possible" and the villains was indescribably enjoyable and entertaining.
Theflyace **This Review May Contain Spoilers**This was one of the best animated shows I have ever seen. The main reason is the chemistry, wit, and realism of the two lead characters, Kim and Ron. Kim is one of the strongest female leads I have seen in any medium, almost like one James Cameron does. Christy Carlson Romano has the talent for it and makes her totally believable. And Ron is enjoyably goofy, well most of the time, voiced by the great Will Friedle. The ing characters are a lot of fun too, Drakken and Shego (John "Bender" DiMaggio and the excellent Nicole Sullivan) are the funniest villains I've ever seen, and Patton Oswalt is inspired as Dementor. Patrick Warburton, Gary Cole, and Jean Smart also work their way in for great characters. The animation is also spectacular. The first season was good but a little awkward. Which show's first season isn't? But by the end of Season 3 it was the best looking animation I had seen other than Pixar. Stephen Silver was the lead character designer and his work is brilliant, and very stylish. It's the epitome of character design in animation so far for me. The backgrounds also match the style of the characters, spearheaded by Andy Ice and Alan Bodner. It reminds the viewers of the Ken Anderson/Maurice Noble standards of animation backgrounds and locations. Adam Berry's music was great too. He evoked the classic spy music by James Bond composer John Barry, but also put his own indelible mark on it, blending the classic and cool orchestra music with a very pop feel to it.Seasons 1-3 were outstanding, mostly because while a few episodes were dumb, most (90%) of them were very funny, emotional, and great to watch. By So the Drama, the animation and writing reached their zeniths, and the best moment was the much anticipated kiss between Kim and Ron, becoming a couple. Then Season 4 came. It was great that the fans had a say and broke Disney's 65 episode policy, that's very inspirational. But the season was a mixed bag. Most of the episodes got too zany or were very forced. I mean some of the ideas were too far out for most viewers, and Ron is made to look like an almost undesirable person because of his goofiness. There are some genuine moments of love and a great look at the relationship between Kim and Ron, but most elements get lost in the shuffle. I wish the Graduation episode was a little more emotional, but hey, not my call.In short this show is excellent. I knock it off of 10 stars because of the mixed bag that was Season 4, but it was still great. Hopefully Disney doesn't let this lie dormant, and something new comes of it in the future.
magmonster2002 Kim Possible is an unusual show because most story problems are solved by resorting to physical violence, yet it's meant to appeal mainly to girls.That's not to say that as a superhero action adventure it doesn't attract lots of boys as well. Which is a shame, because the only male role models in this program are either comedic nerds or villains in some form. The central theme of this show is represented by Kim Possible, who can do anything and her side kick, Ron Stoppable, who can't. Cute, except the juxtaposition of these strongly opposite characters makes a powerful statement on the roles of men and women in a show aimed solidly at formative age kids. The main male character is Ron, the cliché good hearted slacker dingbat who accompanies the ultra accomplished (superheroine/head cheerleader/great student) Kim on her adventures as the "diversion" or target. While he's getting shot at and blown up, she's solving the riddles and beating up the bad guys. The signature running gag for this series is Ron losing his pants, sometimes 2 or 3 times an episode and often being humiliated in front of girls. The other male characters are unattractive nerds and the occasional romantic lead who's always a jerk. If the genders were switched on this program, it would be slammed as a misogynist fest.In one utterly detestable episode, Ron and Kim switch bodies. Ron learns the lesson that it's "im-possible" for him to be the achiever Kim is and she finds out that her pathetic side kick is often beat up for his lunch money. Instead of Ron learning to stand up for himself, the solution is that Kim beats up the bullies that he isn't brave enough to face up to on his own. Way to foster character development in boys, Disney. In summary, this program is like the Witch's apple in "Snow White". Beautiful production design and great animation hides a poisoned center. Parents with boys should steer their kids clear of this Disney offering.
