UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Asad Almond A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
taraelaine87-677-550398 It's not a Christian show ... it's a show about Christians. This show isn't meant to preach to people. It's meant to show that even Christians have ups and downs. I loved watching it growing up and have rewatched some of it on Hulu
CheerChick1298 I am beyond disappointed at how the ratings have dropped so astronomically. This show is neither horrible nor the worst show on television, and is not any other of the horrible names 7th Heaven has been called. A lot of shows tend to drag on for producers have trouble bringing a good show to an end, because it's hard to say goodbye to something that became a part of so many families. Yes, sometimes you wish they would have stopped when the children were younger or at different times in the series but the important thing is that the show did not stop so deal with it!Just because this show does not contain sex, gore, or any of the other things that society has decided is "sexy" or "hot" now-a-days does not give people the right to mock or degrade a wholesome show such as 7th Heaven. It teaches children of all ages. and adults for that matter, valuable life lesson about the true meaning of living a life true to he teaches of The Lord. It shows circumstances of teen pregnancy and gangs and drugs and historical knowledge that we all need to learn, accept, and grow from. These things can be portrayed in a healthy matter. When teen pregnancy was addressed sex was not shown, the teenager who had made the mistake of getting a girl pregnant took the initiative to take responsibility of raising his kid and making sure that he never made that mistake again, and showed others through example to take responsibility and own up to their mistakes and do what you have to do to take care of someone you love. When gangs were shown it was about not ing about the truth of the consequences and how you made a decision that will make life that much complicated and struggle your life will have, but also to try to change, though getting of out gang can get you dead or hurt, which is made known in a healthy and though the topic is disgusting it needs to be shared so that teens can know what will happen if you go down that rode. Drugs, dealing with family matters, and more are showed not just as a problem or obstacle but as a learning experience and a growing process. Dealing with family matters, well that doesn't need to be explained because everyone knows that families have problems some times, they have fights, or arguments or other occurrences that make life sometimes difficult, but you don't give up on each other because of it, you love one another even more and learn to cherish each other even more and work together.Violence is a part of life and has to be shown as a warning to show you how decisions make your life what it is. However the way it is introduced can define how people deal with things and how they learn and grow from others decisions. 7th Heaven is a show that is such a gift we should cherish not make fun if or treat as a disgrace.
blitzsoccerstar11 I went through the reviews, and yes, i guess mine is biased cause i love the show, but i got a little peeved. You here people complain or say how TV these days is filled with sex, drugs, backstabbing, and other loads of crap, but heres this show, trying to demonstrate how virginity isn't something to be given away lightly, drugs=no no, and family comes first. So yes, while maybe it isn't realistic how comfortable the kids are with talking about sex, or how every issue seems to be resolved in one episode, would you rather watch this with your family, or Jersey Shore and Pretty Little Liars and Secret Life of the American Teenagers? And Uh *SPOILER* they aren't perfect! Mary gets pregnant out of wedlock and Simon ends up with piercings at some point. Matt smoked early on in the episode And for those who took offense from watching this show, they NEVER said smokers and druggies were always bad people. As for the religion aspects, people still do go to church every Sunday in the REAL world,i personally don't find it that heavy and this is a Christian, FAMILY themed show, and if you have a problem with either, don't watch.Sometimes the acting is lacking (though is it even close to being the only show to do so), but what big name actor(ress)s had or has the guts to do something like this then or today?
sophiemb why do we have to make some shows like this?? i mean the REALLY life isn't like this!! Okay I leave in Switzerland and here it's absolutely normal to see drunk children everywhere I've also been drunk a few times and i smoke sometimes... So what?? Are we supposed to be the devil or I don't know what...I have some friends who have some huge problems with their parents and they are always under drug. THIS is sad and it is the reality not like this stupid show who shows that the entirely world is wonderful because everything has a happy ending!!! However I respect the religion, I'm American too but just can't stand 7th heaven ! I watch sometimes some episodes but just for laughing and for no other reasons!! sorry for my bad English...
