The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior Audience Reviews 431w6m

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Borgarkeri A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
adonis98-743-186503 In Ancient Akkad, Mathayus grows up as the proud son of Ashur, a captain in the world-renowned military corps of Black Scorpions, first-rate bodyguards, most of which are sent to courts wide away. The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior is the sequel that nobody asked for to the 2002 suprisingly awesome Scorpion King that starred Dwayne Johnson and Michael Clarke Duncan and who do we get for the sequel? Randy Couture that's right, that man can barely act his way out of a paper bag except The Expendables Trilogy and in here? He is no different. (0/10)
Eric Stevenson I it that I don't hate this as much as most people, but I still think this movie is bad. The main fault is how utterly clichéd it is. It features a guy who goes on an epic quest to kill the king to avenge his father. Wow, never heard of a guy killing someone to avenge his father before. The special effects are really bad. In the latter part of the movie, we even get a giant scorpion that's horribly rendered that's mostly invisible or in the shadows all the time. I couldn't help but think that this was to hide how awful the effects are. Most of this movie is predictable.I can't anyone's name because it was so clichéd. As someone who personally thought "The Mummy" to just be okay and "The Scorpion King" to be mediocre at best, I didn't have high expectations for this. This was apparently the first prequel to a prequel that was also a spin off that was also a prequel. Um, I guess it has some importance that way. TSK at least had a charismatic actor like The Rock starring and this practically has nothing to do with that or any of the mummy movies. You could just make it about any other character and no one would notice the difference. *1/2
Mischief810 I was thirty minutes into this before I realized that, based the reviews, this is supposed to be a horrible, awful and not very good movie (but mostly horrible). It was none of that. It's what you'd expect from a low budget, straight to disc action film. Maybe my enjoyment level was increased by my low expectations. Or maybe it was the well choreographed fight scenes (there are plenty). Maybe it was the reasonably believable plot.Maybe all of the above?I liked it, but then I watched it late in the evening and was hungry for an OK and entertaining flick for dessert. I didn't expect too much, but I was still entertained and satisfied, even surprised.
MsShayXPear I'll be the first to it my taste in blockbuster is not always terribly discerning. As long as the film does what its supposed to and I enjoy it I won't judge it too harshly. In fact I was one the few that actually quite liked the much bashed films "Batman and Robin" and "Catwoman". They were at least enjoyable. And even more than that I really enjoyed the 1st Scorpion King and the 1st 2 Mummy films. However even I thought this film was a joke The CGI was absolute s**t, the acting had no depth, the outcome was predictable, the plot varied between laughable and downright ridiculous and there was no chemistry between the hero and his love interest.Even thought I expected little from a direct to DVD movie that didn't even have the same actor as its predecessor this disappointed me.Even the Mummy 3 was far superior this film.
