Bates Motel Audience Reviews 2ft1r

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to what it was like to watch it for the first time.
drewdo-37060 Honestly this is said to be a horror drama but there is almost no horror aspect to it. I'm not normally a fan or dramas but this show is pretty goos. I recommend if you are a fan of Psycho because it does have similarities. The sub-plot is a little strange though. Other than that good show. All on Netflix.
shawnw007 I turned this on casually one day (via Netflix) and became hooked from the first episode. The show is not childish, by any , and bobs you through a series of twists, turns and cliffhangers that keep you wanting more. And I definitely don't take to things quickly.Although the show is highly concentrated on the intricate and extremely troubled mind of protagonist Norman Bates, the real star of the show, in my opinion, is Vera Farmiga as his mother, Norma. The versatility in her acting skills are phenomenal, and in many respects, she carries the show. The chemistry between her and co-star Freddie Highmore is a winner. Bravo to an all-star cast for their believable performances and brilliantly flawed characters. Definitely a winner by all standards!
Majikat The ever growing prequel to Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. The Mother/Son relationship is a little uncomfortable at times, but the whole storyline from episode 1 right to the end shows ever growing disturbing behaviour.
themarvelheroeslildoop Bates Motel is a masterpiece, it pulls you in right from the start and me being someone who hasn't even watched Psycho did not know what to expect. It is beautifully scripted and acted, Vera plays her role of Norma Louise Bates perfectly, she is a beautiful and wonderful mother whom loves Norman more than anything in the world. Freddie Highmore can do no wrong in this show, he play Norman so well, his awkward character, his weird quirks, his insanity, its all just so beautiful to watch. Any and all of you who have watched Psycho, don't look at this as it being a redoing of the original because it will not stay completely faithful to the movies if at all on a lot of subjects, watch this as a complete and utter reimagining and reboot of the films because honestly, I know for a fact the movies cant be nearly as good as this. The way Norman progresses as we watch is just perfect, some people would say he is sick but I would say he is a "Decent" man. Honestly I look at him as a good character with a high moral com throughout the entire show, he truly is a beautiful and complex character. The relationship between Romero and Norma is fantastic, I never know what to expect going into the next episode, seeing just how much all of the characters develop and change throughout is crazy! The ending to the series is perfect, left me crying, I cannot get over how good this show is, I never thought anything would top 'Breaking Bad' but this ties with it to be honest; It is a perfect 10/10, I don't see how it could have improved upon or done anything better.
